the freezer is empty...

My freezer is empty. I have decided to donate my frozen stash to a baby who needed it.

I worked very hard to pump 400+ oz to get Luke to 1 year on breastmilk when I stopped pumping. However, with all his sensitivities, I realized his face was clearer on 100% formula than on the breastmilk. The pediatric dermatologist assured me that his eczema wasn't a food allergy but his face was clearer.

I found a lady who is the foster mom to a precious 9 month old. This little girl was born at 31 weeks addicted to meth. She was taken from her mom and is in foster care. This tiny baby is still only 15 lbs at 9 months but is thriving since she was given the state's approval for donor milk.

I'm sad Luke isn't getting breastmilk to a year but I know he's thriving on the organic formula. I also know that this little girl needs it more than him.
