I've been a crappy blogger lately and haven't posted for awhile. A lot has happened while at the same time not much has happened since the 7 month update. So... I'll try to type something up before the 9month...
Luke's eczema continued to flare up and I took him in to see the pediatric dermatologist. She gave us a prescription cream and it was clear in a few days. Now we just need to use vaseline on the dry spots after baths, bathe him everyday (they used to think you shouldn't but it turns out bathing frequently than moisturizing immediately seals in the moisture), and use the RX cream for flare ups. It was a relief to have that taken care of and to see his perfect skin again!
Right after Thanksgiving, our (new) diaper sprayer for cloth diapers blew a fitting and flooded our house. Really flooded it. We still haven't had construction start again but it involved a week long professional dry out and a huge renovation that is coming up. Our laundry room and upstairs bathroom are gutted out and the carpet was ruined upstairs and my kitchen ceiling has a million holes in it that need repaired. It's been another thing we didn't really intend to worry about.
Luke's 8 month birthday was on my 32nd birthday and I worked! But we did celebrate the weekend before and have our annual holiday party which was a lot of fun. I do love my annual holiday party and cookie exchange, it's my favorite party of the year.
